Great seed trays w/ bright lights!
I’ll confess I haven’t tried growing anything yet, but I pleased at the quality of the trays. They seem pretty durable, so I’m hoping to have them last multiple years. The lights are quite bright, and since they’re positioned only a few inches above the trays, I imagine they’ll give off plenty of light. I’m planning to start some plants from seed soon, so I guess I’ll find out!

Great….except the lid closure
Overall I’m very happy with the quality of these seed starting cell planters and grow light kit. The planters are nice and thick. Very durable. The inserts are as well. The plastic will not crack and break once it’s time to transplant the seedlings. The lid is also thick and durable but doesn’t snap closed over the cell planters. It just “rests” this is the reason I took away one star. If the lid locked tight it would be 5 stars. The planters base holds any excess water that drips out helping to maintain a moist environment. The lights are super easy to install and snap into the lid and work well. Of the 4 I only used 3. I definitely like them. Just wish the lids closed with an airtight seal.

Easy to use!
I’m a first time gardener and was looking for something to start my plants indoors until I could transfer them out to my greenhouse and I landed on these. It comes with 4 containers, and lights. I’ve had really good luck and everything seems to be growing well so far. They’re made very well and are super easy to put together. I definitely recommend them for anyone wanting to start growing things.

The Best and Most Sturdy Seed Trays on Amazon
I recently bought a different brand and was completely dissatisfied with the quality and cheap plastic it was made of. It came bent to where the lid didn’t even work right. I returned that item and found this item and ordered it. It came within 2 days.What caught my attention the most about these trays over the rest was the pictures showing how sturdy the material looked. Well the pictures don’t lie. The material is sturdy and the tray design has the added benefit of being able to clearly see the water levels and root development. These trays are reusable and I’m sure can withstand several seasons. If you buy cheap trays they’ll probably crumble and cause more headaches than necessary. Buy these, they’re well worth the price. The plastic is made of high quality grade plastic that’s made to last unlike the other purchase and fits perfectly over the tray. I am so happy that I found this item.I order a couple sets of these to start seeds for spring. I’ve already used a few of them and find them to be very durable and easy to use. I especially like the little disk that goes on top to control the humidity. That has worked well in that you can control each tray separately. They are durable enough that I would expect to used them for multiple seasons and I especially like that they all stack together nicely for storage. I initially thought them a bit pricey but I do think they are well worth it.Recently had to do a bunch of new seeds and they require a very humid environment, so I got a couple of these and transferred the freshly germinated seeds from test-tubes to these better containers and then put them in this dome so far I’ve noticed some pretty great improvements for more than half of the seeds. this thing really keeps the humidity perfect, if you don’t like it you can rotate the plastic green spots to vent. will definitely be buying more of these in the future.I am excited to keep using them and start some hot peppers in them next week.

Perfect seed starting trays for newbies like us!
We have been extremely happy with these trays! Our Kindergartener started learning about plants at school, so we figured we would buy some seeds and growing trays and just see what happens, in an effort to help with that learning process at home. The trays were extremely easy to put together. It didn’t come with a USB wall adapter, but we have plenty of those from other things. So, we got the USB cord plugged into the adapter and then plugged it into the outlet. Each grow light chord funneling into one big chord also made it super easy! Our kindergartener only needed help clicking the lights in place when getting everything set up. We love that the trays the plants come in are removable so we can check the water amounts in the main trays. We LOVE that we can see the roots to the plants as they grow! We didn’t think the plants would grow so quickly and so well! It’s great that the covers were a bit taller too, to help with room for growth. So, now we plan to transplant those plants to bigger pots and start some more seeds! Our little is so excited about the plants and checks on the trays each morning before school and each night before bed.All in all, this first year was an absolute success and I’m 100% happy with this purchase. We may get a growing shelf and make this a yearly thing.

Not the same as the description. There were only 4 not 10 seedling trays and the cells were small, 10 per tray, so adding that up I make that 40 cells! It’s a shame that these had to be sent back as they were reasonable quality but would have been expensive going by the amount I received.
