A natural odor remover for my smelly feet
I put these in all of my shoes because my feet use to smell like old Fritos. Also put them in my dresser drawer because every time I opened them I felt like a fire fighter rushing into a burning building. Now it’s more like a campfire without the s’more’s. I haven’t had them that long so I haven’t put them outside to recharge yet but I am sure they will all thank me when they get a chance to breathe. I thought about putting one in the back of my underwear to test out how strong the filtering really was but I was afraid of ruining it. Yes I would recommend this product to others and repurchase them if I had to. I give this two Chuck Norris thumbs up.

I recharge my bags every 3-months.Not so sure they work well for my shoes. Maybe they remove dampness from sweat, but as for smell….errr….no.My closet seems to be less musty, but that is about it.They seem to be well made and hold up just as good.My only experience with charcoal is filtering liquids.Because they’re designed to remove smells, they are scentless (the review asked me to rate them).

Set it in the sun to activate it?
So, here in the PNW we don’t get a lot of Sun and the instructions out of the package state to activate it, set it in the sun for several hours and then, boom, it works like magic. Well, I ordered these when we don’t get much sun and not sure if they are activated or not and still have some lingering odors where placed so no clue if they are working or not. Perhaps next summer when we get some sun, I’ll set them out for a day and hope they work (better)?

Amazing and versatile
These are amazing! I got them a few years ago for my kids stinky shoes, and they fixed that problem. Then I thought to try them on some second hand file cabinets with a damp, musty odor – I just placed one in each drawer, and they fixed that too! This year I finally thought to put them inside the kids’ lunchboxes overnight – voila, stinky lunchbox problem solved.No more stink! And I just have to put them outside for a few hours on a sunny day a couple times a year, and they keep on working.

What a value for so many bags!
I put these in the sun for the recommendation, 6 hours, then I placed them in closets, behind shoe racks and behind my ball cap racks and so far I feel like the odor from sweat is better. The closet and mudroom always smelt musty and I would have to use a plug in room deodorizer, I took that out and I am not smelling that funky smell anymore. You get so many bags for the price, amazing because I priced a lot of them before getting these. It says to recharge monthly in the sun which i don’t mind as long as they eliminate odors. Supposed to last two years, fingers crossed.

Helped my Stinky teenager cleats
My teenage son plays lacrosse and often the combination of wet grass and sweaty feet/cleats, sweaty damp chest pads, elbow pads and helmet gets stuffed in his bag and zipped up and forgotten about until next day which equates to an absolutely disgusting smell wafting from his bag. I try my best to remember to open and dry out all gear and remind him to but with four teenagers all in a sport and running around it’s hard to keep reminding all the kids to manage their gear ….. so I bought a set for each kid. After every single practice they slide a couple of the small slender charcoal sleeves down into their cleats and larger ones in helmet and inside elbow gear and rest of them thrown in bag to help …. And with keeping bag unzipped and adding the charcoal packs the gear is dry and odors down significantly. Starting this housekeeping trick with clean or new gear is helpful but helps either way.MAKE SURE Place bags in sunlight (UV light activates them not the heat so you can do it even on a cold day) for EIGHT hours before using and reactivate charcoal in sunlight every 1-2 months
