Pure Humate_ Looks like dark soil!
High quality fine, dense, humate granules like soft stone. It looks exactly like soil and I thought it was a mixture of soil and humate but it’s actually just humate.

Amazing product
Too many people complain they didnt notice an immediate difference. They need to do research on how humic acid works and what it actually does. Got this on sale which helped offset the shipping costs. Love this product! With continually use, again colontinual use, it will make your yard better!

Takes a few applications over time, but results are great!
I had light, greenish yellow, thin bladed grass for years on a 7,000 st lawn. Parts of it would dry out very quickly in hot weather, leaving yellow dead dry patched in troubled areas. I watered a lot, too much and started getting necrotic ring spots. I tried many different lawn companies over the years with little improvement except for greener grass initially after the application of a high nitrogen fertilizer they all applied. I started doing this myself to save some money with the same results. It wasn’t until I’d used this Live Earth Soil Conditioner that everything changed. I put it on pretty heavy, about 50 lbs. to 1,000 sf after I had the lawn aerated each time. I watered it in with a good organic fertilizer and the lawn slowly got better and better looking. It remained dark green for the duration between applications, with the grass blades looking much more healthy and thicker. Over the summer as I made two more heavy applications, about six weeks apart, the soil profile began to change and the soil had become much richer with the grass definitely thicker, totally deep green and healthy looking. I didn’t have the troubled dry patches any more, despite using less water. My necrotic ring spot disappeared eventually too as I was having to use a lot less water. Last summer was the best my lawn has looked since the sod was laid eight years ago. I love this stuff and I’ll be doing the same thing next summer.

Ancient plant matter that works well to revitalize soil.
This stuff is so old it smells like it’s just about to turn into oil. Has a tar like odor which means to me it is most definitely ancient. Because it is made of prehistoric plant matter it is organic and it won’t burn plants if used as directed. If you recycle soil year after year you need this to put back into soil that which is removed by previous years plant growth. Use dry or as a tea. Good stuff.

Long term soil fix
I’m doing a review because I saw a few bad reviews. One review said they charge more for shipping than the actual product. Yes true but it really cost that much to ship 50 pounds. Given the shipping and cost of product you are getting a deal compared to competitors. Although it is ground up humic acid not the granular so it will take a few months to full saturate soil this should not be a worry for this time of year for the ones using it for lawns by the time growing season hits you will be fine. This price point also makes it where you can use it over the long term. 50 pounds of this is equivalent to 50 gallons of most the liquid humic products. I started out using liquid humic to get grass growing in my bare spots and now those spots grow the best. for those with hard clay soil it’s a game changer. I now have soft flaky soil. It’s amazing.Update. I showed how much the yard has changed in two months of putting this down. I’ll let the photos speak for them selves

Good value for the money
Hard pellets that are easy spread into the soil with a spreader. I tilled this stuff into my the clay soil garden bed and watered it in. Then, I added other soil ammendments since this is a new garden bed. The soil doesn’t clump together like clay but that is probably because I of the compost manure, peat moss, vermiculite and peat moss I added. I just know this is good stuff to have in your soil.

Change in product
The previous form of this soil conditioner was excellent. I’m sure this one will be good also. But for my purposes I like the old formula
