Perfect for growing romaine lettuce
We liked this one that we decided to buy another one, very easy to put together. The only problem I have seen is that it is very light weight.

So far I like this system. Love the low maintenance and easy set up. Couple things that I’m not crazy about. While my tomato plants are growing nice and tall, as they crowd each other, the little cups start tipping over. I’ve had to tweak and scrunch them to keep the cups in place. I also agree with the majority that it would have been nice to have enough covers included.

My tomato plants are growing well past the lights… actually come back down and almost seem like they’re doing circles around it lolz.. and are you supposed to keep this somewhere dark so the right photopeeiods / lighting schedules aren’t disrupted? Might as well just sit it on the porch or, I dunno. But everything grows well and runs well!

Love this product. Love the customer service. I did receive my Growell with a cracked tank and I contacted Growell and they immediately replaced the tank. The system is easy to use and it works.

Breaking after several weeks of use – do not buy
I regret buying this hydroponic system and am going to throw it away soon.First, I had an issue with one of the three water tanks having been damaged in transit. The customer service was helpful and offered me a partial refund because I could use the other two tanks as a two-tier system. Second, the sleep timer was advertised for 10 hour duration, but it was actually only 9 hour duration so it woke me up a few times, but I realized and adjusted my routine and the automatic light timer.The final straw is that after a few weeks of use with two tanks of water in use, I noticed the whole unit was crooked. Which was because the wheels were all breaking. One of the snapped clean off and I found it lying on the floor. Two of the other wheels were bending and would not rotate as they had when I first bought it. I could try to remove the wheels or shove some cardboard under the missing wheel, but at this point I don’t trust the structural stability of the product and if it falls over, I would have almost 30 liters of water all over my living room floor. I’m very frustrated that this item is going into the trash after a month of use.

Seriously impressed with this hydroponic setup! It’s been an absolute game-changer for my little balcony garden. Setup was surprisingly straightforward. The plants are thriving; I mean, really growing faster and looking healthier than anything I’ve managed in soil. It’s super clean; no more hauling bags of dirt, and I love being able to watch the roots develop. If you’re on the fence about going soil-less, just jump in. It’s rewarding, efficient, and frankly, kinda futuristic feeling. Five stars, no question. Results are in pictures for one week.

I’m shocked at how well this system works and how good the greens I’ve produced so far are.I love a good salad, but in the winter I almost always stop making them because store‑bought greens have zero flavor. I can still find a decent tomato and cucumber to add, but the greens taste like nothing. I decided to try this system, and I am so happy I did. I can’t say enough about how amazing the greens taste. They’re just like summer greens—actually, they’re way better than what I grow outside. They have so much flavor that I’m having a salad every couple of days.It took about three weeks for my first harvest, and now just the top tray produces enough for three of us to have a salad every two days or so.It was easy to assemble. I have herbs growing in the middle (and I’ve started some strawberries), and I have beans, peas, and cherry tomatoes starting on the bottom.It runs quietly, it didn’t spike the humidity in my house, and so far it only needs water about once a week to top it up.AMAZING. I will get a second if I can pick one up on sale!
