Classy-looking barrel
I love this rain barrel. It looks very classy and is sturdy. A great way to capture rain water. I wish I had known a couple of things before I bought it. It has a flat back so it’s better to be able to put it close to your home. That’s what I planned to do. But since the downspout hole in the gutter is a few feet away, I have to move it out a little, leaving a weird space between it and the house. It wasn’t easy for me to install the two spigots. I’m not very good with plumbers tape and had a hard time screwing the spigots in. The only big complaint I have is the area on top where they show flowers planted in there. It’s way too shallow to plant anything (maybe succulents?) as it dries out quickly and then as soon as you have a hard rainfall, it all washes out. It depends on where you have it set up. Even without something planted in there, it still looks nice. It has a screwed-on screen where the water goes in. You’ll need to unscrew that if you put a dunk in it.. I just pour a little vegetable oil. Still, I love it. It was a good price and still my favorite over the other ones I’ve seen. I also purchased a copper rain chain that leads to it and it’s beautiful. It arrived quickly and in perfect shape.

We purchased two of these in light gray for our last house and left them when we moved! We just purchased two more for our new house and this time got the dark brown and I love them so much. The flower/plant bed is an added bonus and finishes the look nicely. One tip is that I put rocks in the bottom of the flower bed as when it rains really hard the barrel will fill up and spill over into the planter and the rocks help to not wash out your plants. It was only an issue with lots of rain and if you didn’t use the water fast enough! I do like the dark brown better because I don’t have to clean the outside. With the lighter color it streaked where the rain drips—easily cleanable, just another step I avoided with the dark brown. We also purchased the bases for the barrels this time (reviewed separately) and for me, they are wonderful and wished I bought them last time! I’ve grown all kinds of herbs and flowers in the planters and they very well. In case you aren’t aware, it’s much better to water your garden with rain water and your garden will love you for it!!

Great purchase!
I really like this rainbow. It looks great at the front of the house and feels really well made. Having two spigot is a great option, one is low that I attach to a soaker hose and the other is the right height to fill a watering can. We bought the dark gray and the spigot are gold colored. It really looks sharp!

Catching rain
I love this 50 gallon rain barrel. It was easy to put the faucets on and I love that it has an area to put a potted plant and an overflow. It fits perfectly by my greenhouse and I will be installing gutters next to catch all the rain water.

Great product!!
So far this rain barrel has performed as designed. I had a small issue with the one I got, but the company was able to resolve it. Very happy with the product & will definitely buy more of them for other down spouts.
Doesn’t work. Very cheaply made. Not worth a penny. –
WORTH THE PURCHASE
I absolutely love this train catcher! It’s beautiful and adds so much to the design of the flower bed.

Just what we needed
We were looking for a rain barrel for our new gutters and came across this one. We’re glad to get it, it arrived sooner than expected so I could get it into place and level for the gutter installers. It was simple and straightforward to assemble the pieces, didn’t take more than a few minutes. A day after everything was in place we had one of those heavy Texas rainstorms that lasted all night, pouring constantly. By morning it was overflowing and still raining, the video shows the lightening flash at the end. It was pretty much full and held strong, no bulges, no leaks. I’ve already used it all for the garden and some trees. It does the job while also looking nice in our landscape. Great purchase!

Love the quality and colour. The taps are made of a good quality brass. We live in an area that may experience water shortage this summer. We decided to buy this rain barrel and are filling it using water that runs when waiting for water to warm up in our shower. We are also using rinse water we use for dishes to put in the barrel. This will be used to water our gardens.
