It’s long read it! Worth it!! 1/29
Light blew and began smoking a few minutes after being plugged in. Have bigger lights that didn’t create this issue. I’ve returned it.Update 12/15: company reached out, it appears it may have been damaged during transit. Although I wasn’t able to get a replacement I was offered a refund. Hopefully I can try and order again.Update 1/29: customer service TOP TIER they sent a replacement light! The light has gone through the cycle a good two weeks and no issues! I appreciate the fact that they went what I feel is above and beyond letting me know the issue that caused the problem then offering a replacement. I was able to try again without worrying about any sparks or smoke problems. The packaging for this light was boxed differently in a good way everything had its place! Definitely glad I got the chance to try again and it’s working so well! I will look to try more from them in the future! Try em, loving it and again awesome customer service.

New controllers are holding some promise!
Apr 9 update -So this little guy is KICKING ASS!!! Tomatoes, peppers, cat grass, barley, lemon grass, cannabis, you name it she’s popping sprouts with gusto and they look great!!! Controller is hot, but not overheating, seems steady on full lumen productions. Handling the 320 load really well with no cooling implemented! (gonna change that cause just wanted to see, but you should always cool your control boxes if possible with some small circuit fans and/or a heat since panel.)I can’t wait to implement the new KW models to see how they fruiting plants to produce!! Excellent improvements!Mid March Update -Been working with EcoHom on testing the new product for a couple months…. About a week in on the 320 after they redesigned the control modules, am running 16 hour days at 100% and I gotta say, my sprouts are looking STRONG. No unwanted smells, no smoke, no flickers from the lamp with these new controllers. I can’t wait to see how the 800 and KW lamps do as well. Seems like the work paid off. The real test is at the higher output, but if they’re as solid as this little sprouter lamp I think I have my life-long go to producer for all my lighting needs. They really care about having a quality product on market and it shows.Keep up this great work, EcoHom. Best quality for cost I’ve seen in years as an old hat. Much more detailed review to come once I can get that KW lamp they asked me to test (still in production) and the new controller for the 800 gathering dust with no controller (it was an older model)I have a feeling I’ll be giving them a perfect 5* score once I see them in action, this improvement is fantastic!Really hope they can set up a way to get replacement parts as well.

Light was as expected after testing upon receipt. The only complaint I have is that it comes with four small magnets that I have no idea of the use of with no explanation as to what it is for. The light does extend and contract coverage, but there is no way to set the arms in place (probably what those magnets are for, but it isn’t immediately clear how to use them to set the coverage area). Still, it’s an unbelievable value for what you are getting

Name brand quality, smaller price tag.
Definitely worth the price I paid for it as it has all the qaultiy and functionality I need it for. Minor upgrades that would be nice is if it could be locked in each position it can extend/retract to. I noticed it didn’t fully switch off but a faint dim when connected to my smart grow hub not a huge deal for my autos. Size is great and has a 5×5 effective area as advertised.

They look fancy
Lights came assembled which is nice but they literally just put them in a box. No Styrofoam or any other packing materials to keep the lights safe. Half of the lights are broken

Quick decline in performance
Started great , 3 months in and they are flickering and not as bright ! Think something with the power supply unit has gone faulty ! Disappointed

Worth the price
I’m very satisfied. It’s not always true that you get what you pay for. This was cheap and more than I expected. If it last a year I’m satisfied, I haven’t went over 50%!
