Great for food storage & liquids if not under outside pressure, easy open/close & sturdy
Same as Annaklin, with Silisea typically cheaper when comparing similar size combos, but Silisea lists their sizes differently by one place (Silisea S/Annaklin XS = 2 cups/500 ml).My almost 3-year-old can open and close these after I showed her how. The smallest 2-cup size is perfect for kid-sized sandwiches and small snacks (pretzels, gummies, etc). Won’t break or roll away or spill all the contents when dropped. They can go in the dishwasher, microwave, and even the oven (haven’t tried this; I’m sure there’s a temp limit you should try to keep it under–not really sure why you’d want it in the oven though LOL).The blue color is BEAUTIFUL, but you can’t see through it as easily as the clear ones. If you’re planning to label the outside, not a problem (I plan to use a wet erase marker). I plan to use the blue for my daughter’s school snacks since they stand out easily and she won’t really be needing to choose a bag by looking for what’s inside on any given day.Opens nice & wide for cleaning, filling, emptying, and they sit up on the counter with the wide bottom for filling. You can fold the top over around the outside to keep the zip closure clean when filling with liquids & keep the opening wide on its own.Filled a large bag with water & shook it upside down in the sink hard. Took several shakes for the weight of the water to finally force it open. If using for camping or something where you’d have liquids packed in tight against other things in a backpack, these would not be a good choice. They would be good for freezing drinking water to put in a cooler though, and you could drink the melted water afterward–I’d just recommend placing them opening-up in case something jostles them enough to force them open. For solids or semi-solids without super tight packing, these are perfect!I plan to use the 4 cup for freezing a pound of cut up raw chicken for future meals, and the 6 cup for pre-made dinners in a quantity for myself and my daughter (such as spaghetti, etc). The 7 c would be good probably for a double-meal or partial ingredients to freeze for a future crockpot meal, and the 12 c for a complete crockpot meal ready to go in the pot. Would also work well to freeze soup; just gently lay them down to freeze with no weight on top of them, then once frozen you can rearrange them however you need since there’s no internal pressure to pop them open.

I am so glad they finally started making these bags in an extra-large size. The bags are the same as those I have been using so successfully but in a size that can fit a head of cabbage or lettuce. I love that they stand up on their own to make filling easy and are a snap to clean. I mainly use these bags for produce because they keep it fresh so much longer than regular food storage bags. Also, I can line up the bags in a row on a shelf, which keeps my refrigerator so much neater. Couldn’t be more pleased with this product!!

We love using these silicone bags, they are sturdy, easy to load and clean. Great that we aren’t tossing more ziplocks into the landfill.

Just OK, but better than plastic
Very substantial bags — very thick. Bouncy-rubbery. I’m glad I bought them, but I hope there’s something better now or in the future. The issue is the seal. I guess I expected these to close as firmly as ZipLoc plastic bags, but they don’t — the silicone is too thick and soft. They do close, you can feel a slight snap as the tongue-and-groove falls in place, and it looks airtight— BUT it’s very easy to open them, on purpose or mistakenly. Don’t expect them to hold the seal if you turn them upside down or drop them with food in them (ask me how I know — I think some blackberries rolled under the fridge).I don’t know if we can expect silicone bags, at this stage of their evolution, to seal with a snap like ZipLoc. But because they’re not plastic, I’m willing to deal with it until something better comes along.
