I gave it four stars because we haven’t tried the water that’s been in it since we bought it. It was my husband’s idea to store water for emergencies. I don’t know if it’s good or not. It sits outside and hasn’t frozen and burst. It’s hidden behind a lattice panel so looks are not a problem.

Solid Simple Effective
Came back from camping, there it was on my porch. Its a heavy gage one-piece drum. Caps are solid and have fine and wide threads to keep them in the right hole. I filled mine up outside. Washed it out first. Took care of the plastic smell. You can see the level by looking down a hole with light. Easy to see.Ill fill it and check it periodically. Totally confident in this pirxhase and product. Very well-built. A noce addition to the water heater tank and tub bladders.

Stout 55 Gallon Water Drum
Appears to be high quality. Still need to clean with bleach and fill, but I’m waiting to get a rolling stand before I make it so heavy I can’t move it. Arrived in great shape. Will be ordering another one or two.
