Worth it
This 13-piece solar crimp toolkit is phenomenal. The crimping pliers feel solid and do a clean job. It comes with plenty of male and female connectors that screw together with a really solid connection, plus a good quality gasket in between. Everything feels well-made and the bag is super compact, about the size of a book. Way better quality than I expected

important kit to buy with solar panels
my first time buying solar panels and this kit was suggested so I grabbed it as well and it came in very handy. It was a good price. They connector quality is great. They were easy didn’t hook together. They’re tough they fit perfect we’re easy to use and that it comes with everything you need so glad I bought it. I had no idea what I was doing, but it was perfect. I would suggest if you’re getting solar panels to have one of these if you have MC four connectors so that if anything were to happen, you have the ability to fix it right away.

Good starter kit. Made setting up my new solar backup generator a breeze.
The kit comes with everything you need. The crimp tool feels good in your hand and works great to make the connections. The actual plugs are good quality and stand up to sun, rain and snow no problem. I didn’t think the blue connector tools were necessary but they make tightening and disconnecting the connector a breeze.

Connectors are compatible with MC4 but are not exact copies. Crimper is a little tricky getting the contacts aligned, but work fine with little fuss.

For the one time I had to crimp some connectors on. It was great!
I bought this to really do one job that I needed done, with an eye to possibly needing to do it again one day. In that regard, all the tools and pieces did their job. I’m happy with my purchase. The two tools for disconnecting solar connectors are invaluable. It is a pain to do it without them.
