Awesome rain barrel!
This little rain barrel was easy to assemble and is very heavy duty! We connected it to our downspout and it works like a champ! Affordable too! Since we are using it for plants, I also put a mosquito dunk (donut) in the water (not harmful to pets, plants or humans), to negate any mosquito propagation. I also love the little bucket that came with it for watering. And the gauge on the sides let you know how many gallons are left. This is the 53 gallon size barrel.

Good so far
So far we are very pleased with the purchase of these 2 rain barrels. 1 inch of rain the first night we had then yielded 100 gallons of rainwater in one and 80 gallons of rainwater in the other. Especially like the tube on the outside that shows you how full the barrel is as well as clear markings on the barrel to show you the capacity.

Bought as a gift for my husband who is really into gardening and landscaping. Bought the largest size but the directions are geared towards a smaller barrell (no worries, was easy to understand why the directions said use 6 rods but I had 8). The material seems very durable. Easy to assemble but nice to have 2 people to do so just because it’s a little awkward putting some pieces on when it is not standing up yet. Not sure what the optional glue is, we didn’t use it.

Stagnant water in bottom.
It is well designed other than with the bottom hose opened for draining, it still leaves a few inches of water in it.. a perfect incubator for mosquitos.Materials are good and it’s well made. Maybe you can figure out how to get the water out of the bottom.

Easy set up
Works good and easy to set up. No leakage.

Nice
My husband loved this rain barrel , However the hose doesn’t work unless you but the barrel on a high table so the water drains down. Not ideal but it holds water without leaks and was cost effective. He uses a bucket to water a small garden next to the barrel.

Great portable solution for rain collection
Fantastic product. This was the perfect solution for our need for a rain collector. It was sturdy and stable, easy to assemble with no problems of leakage and no seal issues.

Did the job!
It did it’s job! I love the idea of recycling rain water but I also had a paving problem that rain water gets under the door to the garage and it caught all the water before it got to the door.It actually did two jobs for me with the rain water & no flooding my garage area so I am very pleased. My girlfriend bought me the larger one too & I will place that on the other side of my house. The price is great better than the $100 plus ones.
