Works great! We are very happy with this purchase
Love this rain barrel! When it first arrived I was skeptical about it because it is plastic. But once we put it up, it blends well with the foliage next to the house and looks great! It works great too! I love that we can pick up the hose and turn it on anytime we want and water the plants. It holds quite a lot of rainwater and was worth the price!

Works great
Love the chocolate brown color, not sure how it will hold up in the Texas sun. Love the rectangle shape. I ended up elevating it on 2 blocks so the water still came out when it had 1/4 still in it. Love that the open /close valve is in the hose. The clasp to hold the hose doesn’t stay in the barrel and falls out occasionally. Like the large opening in the top with the removable screen which allows me to use a pump if I want. I attached one barrel to another and it included the connection hose. When it was at the same height I noticed a small drip at the connection hose point. When elevated it disappeared.

Great size
This is a very nice container. I like that it’s flat, so it fits against my small greenhouse and collects the rainwater through my eves set up perfectly.

Will purchase again
Have not been able to hook it up yet but I love the way it looks in my flower beds. Will purchase more for other areas around my house

Good Quality
I am impressed, I hooked it up yesterday and today it rained and is filling up. Looks and feels well build. I like the idea that you can put a second or third one in parallel to store more water if you need to. I purchased a 4ft gutter extension at a local hardware store and inserted it into a joint of my downspout to feed the rain barrel. I will have to switch it back in winter. I am really happy with it.

Attractive but flawed
These barrels look nice for the price and it’s great they can sit flush against a wall but there are some serious design flaws with how they expect two barrels to be connect or any type of overflow control. There was initially dripping coming from three of the four side extension pieces in our two barrels when they were full of water. The seller was very responsive and provided rubber caps to help stop the drips and extra hose to try and create a better overflow control, so points for good customer service. For the downside: Note that there is no way you can connect two barrels or have overflow hosing without requiring a saw and alteration to the barrels because the side pieces (seller calls them spigots but they are not spigots) where this is intended to occur are a fully sealed part of the barrel and must be cut open, compared to our other barrel which came with a top spigot already threaded to connect a garden hose and simply had a cap screwed on that needed to be removed, the design of these barrels is rather frustrating. The “hose” provided for connection or overflow is really worthless because it’s soft flexible plastic that did not allow water to easily flow out, we had initially added a small overflow tube which worked fine for draining into a bucket and worked to fill a bucket while the “hose” did nothing.. We ended up having to buy a section of tubing to replace the one provided and it now works to allow overflow into the second barrel. It should also be noted that the top grid plate works fine to keep debris out but the holes are still large enough for mosquitoes so we added screen mesh to keep out bugs. The other barrel we have came with mesh already covering the top which was another better feature than this barrel.

I like the asthetic of this barrel and the hose addition. It was easy to put together and when it overflows, it drips out the side. I have no issue with the hose hanger as some have reviewed, it sits firmly held. The shut off switch on the hose is non-existant, literally does nothing when you turn it, so have your water can ready!

Excellent product. It’s well-made, the plastic is thick, and the best part was I didn’t have to put anything together. I’ve only been using it a few weeks, but it feels like it will hold up well for a long while. You can tell it was manufactured to survive a Canadian winter (empty of course, so it doesn’t crack in the cold). The included hose is handy for filling up my watering can and the spigot on the end keeps the water from being wasted. I like the included clip on the side that let’s me tuck the hose up off the ground. It holds a respectable amount of water, too. I was looking for something to capture water on my rooftop terrace where I grow my vegetables so I didn’t have to lug jugs of water up there any longer and this is doing exactly what I needed it to do. I also like that it’s a rectangle, as this made it easier to fit around my planters while placing it strategically under the lip of the bit of roof that sticks out overhead. It’s also made in Canada, so that made it infinitely more attractive to me personally as a Canadian. It wasn’t cheap, but it’s also not cheaply made, so I thought it was worth paying a little more for quality. This is the second item I’ve purchased from this company (previously bought their tumbling composter). If these two items are an indication of the quality of the rest of their product line, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more outdoor garden items from FCMP Outdoor Store.

The product essentially is good but you do have to find your own equipment to hook the barrel up to your drain for the overflow. You do receive a sleeve to connect the rain barrels if you want them in tandem. Also be careful to tighten the hoses on the bottom of the barrel as they will come loose and you’ll have a mini gusher. The barrels are sturdy, and have an even bottom and sit well on the pedestals we made for them. I will buy more.

Great value and looks great too 😁👍We use this water barrel with the run off from our greenhouse and it works great. Added a submersible pump, hose and sprayer for easy watering of the greenhouse plants 🪴Highly recommended 😁👍

This is a mid-size compact rain barrel. I like the rectangular design that allows it to fit neatly in corners or along a fence line. It does look great along flower beds as it is not overly large and it seems to blend in.
