Nous faisons des semis intérieurs depuis bientôt 25 ans. Nous avions déjà tout ce qu’il faut : tapis chauffants, éclairage DEL, terreau adapté. Ce qui me manquait, c’était des plateaux de plus petite dimension, justement comme ceux-ci. En magasin, on ne trouve presque que de grands formats, ce qui force à mélanger tomates, poivrons et aubergines dans le même plateau. Le problème, c’est que ces semences ne lèvent pas au même moment: si on prolonge le couvert pour celles qui tardent, on s’expose à la fonte des semis pour celles qui sont déjà levées.Ces plateaux à 12 cellules (format 3×4) règlent exactement ça. Je peux regrouper des semences à temps de levée similaire, ou ne mettre qu’une variété, et gérer chaque plateau au rythme spécifique de chaque variété.Les dômes sont assez hauts pour laisser les étiquettes en place, ce qui n’est pas le cas des modèles habituels, pour lesquels le couvercle est plus bas. Le système d’aération avec capuchon rotatif permet d’ajuster l’humidité progressivement quand les pousses commencent à lever, sans avoir à retirer le dôme. Le plateau de récupération est solide et facilite le transport.L’ensemble inclut deux petits outils de jardinage. Pas essentiels, mais utiles pour quelqu’un qui commence.
